REALTORS® must adhere to the strict Code of Ethics of
the National Association of REALTORS®. The Code contains
17 articles and is divided into three parts: Part One—Duties
to Clients and Customers; Part Two—Duties to the Public;
and Part Three—Duties to REALTORS®. Standards of
Practice relating to the Code of Ethics clarify the ethical
obligations imposed by the Code.
Modifications to the Code and changes to the Standards of
Practice are approved from time to time by the board of directors
of the National Association of REALTORS®. |
