Grievance and Arbitration Procedures

REALTORS® subscribe to higher standards of professional conduct than required by licensing law. This is accomplished through their memberships in a location association of REALTORS®, as well as an appropriate state association and the National Association of REALTORS®. Membership in these associations require adherence to the strict Code of Ethics promulgated by the National Association. Each local association bears responsibility for conscientiously enforcing the Code within its jurisdiction. A violation of the Code constitutes an offense against the Association and its members generally and derogates the real estate industry. In the unlikely event you have a grievance against a REALTOR® member of the San Francisco Association of REALTORS®, please file a complaint with the Association by following the procedures outlined below.
