A 15-member board of directors conducts the business affairs
of the San Francisco Association of REALTORS®. The Association
has four corporate officersthe president, the president-elect,
the chief executive officer and the chief financial officer.
The corporate officers, with the exception of the chief executive
officer, are practicing REALTORS®.
The president presides at all meetings of the Association,
including the board of directors. He or she performs all duties
usual to the office of chairman of the board but no day-to-day
administrative duties that are the responsibility of the chief
executive officer and the Association's administrative staff.
The Association relies on REALTOR® committees to study
issues and formulate recommendations to be presented to the
board of directors for action.
