View proposals currently pending before the Board of Supervisors or city administrative bodies which, if adopted, will materially affect the rights of real property owners in San Francisco. The Association’s position on each of the proposals is provided, along with arguments that can be presented to elected or appointed officials in support of the Association’s position.
The Association closely monitors legislative and rule-making developments in San Francisco. Whenever it is determined that a proposal will affect the interests of real property owners or REALTOR® members, the staff develops a proposed position on the proposal. After the Association’s Governmental Relations Committee reviews the proposal and the proposed position, a recommendation is made to the Board of Directors. Once the board acts on the recommendation, a formal position on the proposal is established and the staff lobbies elected or appointed officials, as the case may be, to develop support for the Association’s position.
